What is a professional servant? Well, it's someone who makes their living serving others.  Jim Sherer views his profession as an opportunity to serve his clients in the biggest purchase or sale of their lives: their HOME. 



Jim Sherer was born and raised in Manheim where he grew up working on his father, Elwood's, two farms in Rapho township. He attended the Manheim Central Schools and graduated from Messiah College in 1992 with BA, majoring in Pre-Law.  Following college in 1995, Jim and a college roommate started Clearview Technologies Inc., in Mount Joy where they built a company designing and selling corporate computer networks.  Jim oversaw sales and marketing, servicing such companies as Bank of Lancaster County, MapQuest, Willow Valley and Wyeth Laboratories to name a few. Such marketing and negotiating background relate perfectly to the Real Estate industry. Jim offers his clients leading edge technology marketing which is crucial to maximizing market saturation and obtaining top dollar for their properties.

Jim, his wife Crystal and son Cooper, reside at 1650 Wisegarver Road north of Manheim.  They encourage you to visit and tour the completion of the old log farm house they have renovated. Jim and Crystal enjoy country living and homes that capture by-gone eras.

Jim and Crystal are members of Chiques Church of the Brethren where Jim teaches Sunday School,  sits on the Music Commission and they both are involved in Youth Ministry and worship music.  They invite you to visit if you are not attending anywhere in particular. The congregation at Chiques is a warm and welcoming family oriented group that invites participation and community outreach.
